Yahoo! 將關閉美味書籤服務？更正：是賣出！

今天晚上看到消息，Yahoo!預告要停止delicious的服務了。

剛開始，我感到非常地錯愕，因為我本身就是delicious長期使用者，從Yahoo!併購之前便是，途中曾為了支持由台灣本土發展且竄起的書籤網站黑米與funP之故而一度閒置，不過在黑米式微之後（funP緊接黑米之後接收人氣時），我又回頭啟用了自己的美味書籤，最後便長期且低調的使用它。

那時，聽到delicious被Yahoo!併購之時，心裡總不是滋味，因為那時Yahoo!的管理頻頻出現負面消息，而且自己對台灣Yahoo!的印象也不是很好，不過後來安慰自己，被大公司併購總多一層保障，不過，到現在我知道我錯了！被大公司併購真的不等於這服務能夠長期延續下去。

delicious算是非常早期的網絡服務了，它的「標籤(tag)」、「雲(cloud)」與「關鍵字」概念也是現今許多目錄型網站的原型，人氣雖比不上現在火紅的網站，但是仍有一群長期且穩定流量的使用者，尤其這些書籤都是使用者長期耕耘的心血、精華，除非有後續的移轉服務，不然我覺得這樣的關閉動作太專制了，也不夠尊重長期使用者。

唉，多說無益，看透這幾年來網路的起起落落，也目睹了許多網站竄起與式微，delicious關站卻是第一次讓我有錯愕的感覺，畢竟長期使用慣了。

突然變成抱著大量資料的「難民」，在這一個月內不知道能不能找到替代方案呢？殘念！

Update:Yahoo!發布消息指出，可能會賣出Del.icio.us而不會是關閉服務！

- No, we are not shutting down Delicious. While we have determined that there is not a strategic fit at Yahoo!, we believe there is a ideal home for Delicious outside of the company where it can be resourced to the level where it can be competitive.

- We’re actively thinking about the future of Delicious and we believe there is a home outside the company that would make more sense for the service and our users. We’re in the process of exploring a variety of options and talking to companies right now. And we’ll share our plans with you as soon as we can.
What if I want to get my bookmarks out of Delicious right away?
- As noted above, there’s no reason to panic. We are maintaining Delicious and encourage you to keep using it. That said, we have export options if you so choose. Additionally, many services provide the ability to import Delicious links and tags.

Yahoo Trying To Unload Del.icio.us, Not Shut It Down
Yahoo says that while Delicious doesn’t have a “strategic fit” at the company, it will not be shutting the service down entirely for now. In fact, it looks like Yahoo is going to find a new home for Delicious (a.k.a. sell).

Yesterday we all thought Delicious was about to go the way of Ma.gnolia. For those that don't remember, Ma.gnolia was a Delicious competitor that suffered a massive data loss and eventually shut down entirely. It now looks like Delicious will live on, but it remains uncertain where or in what form.
